Why Did You Turn a Deaf Ear?

“Write to them of the churches which are in the four corners of the earth. Thus saith the Son of God who hath the stars in His hand, whose eyes are like a flame of fire: I see thy works, every one, and am come to judge you after your ways. One defiles his neighbor’s wife and says, ‘I am innocent’. One slays the poor and needy and says, ‘It is no crime’. As I live, saith the Lord, I will not hold you guiltless but you shall be destroyed with the heathen. I called and no one answered. I sent My servants the prophets to you, rising early and sending, but you would not hear. And now, saith the Lord, I will not hear you when you beg for mercy. Where were you when the poor and needy cried to you? Why did you turn a deaf ear to him? So will I do to you, and judge you after your ways. Write and say to him that sinneth, ‘Sin no more’, lest blood be on thy hands. I said not in vain that I would judge the living and the dead after their works. Your words shall not stand in that day, saith the Lord. Yet you say, ‘God is a God of love and not judgment’. Fools, I have declared from the beginning that you are to be holy even as I am holy. Why do you profane My Name, teaching doctrines of men and devils? You shall not escape, but shall be destroyed with the wicked. And now, My daughter, I go My way to Him who sent Me. Dost thou ask concerning thy instructions? Even what I told you before. Be ready to leave at a moment’s notice, for he that calleth thee is on his way.”
