I Desired Mercy
July 18, 2021
Jesus told me, “Start writing, and I will tell thee what thou shalt say. Thus says the Lord unto the lukewarm church who says they are Mine but they deceive themselves, and their religion is in vain. Said I not in My word that pure and undefiled religion is to visit the fatherless and the widow in their affliction, and to keep themselves unspotted from the world? But you make My words of none effect, preferring instead your doctrines of men. Where were you when the poor and needy called to you, and you did not answer? My anger is kindled against such a people as this. I desired MERCY, and not sacrifice, and the love of God more than burnt offerings. But you passed the needy by on the streets and came and sat in My house to pay your tithes. Foolish generation, you passed Me by, and now I will do the same to you. Go in peace, My daughter, and spare not to share the words thou hast heard. Over and out.”
